Stoked Yogi and Fluid SUP have teamed up yet again to bring you another amazing SUP yoga experience. This time in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Expand you knowledge and skills on the water during a long weekend of fun in the sun. This training will include 40 hours of continuing education for Yoga Alliance as well as a PaddleFit certification. You will leave feeling stronger both mentally, physically, and ready to take on the next adventure of your yoga journey.

This 5 Day, 40 Hour Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga Teacher Certification Course Includes:

– SUP Skills: Paddle technique including stroke and maneuvering, board anatomy and handling, entry and exit techniques, caring for your board.
– Instructing a beginner SUP lesson
– Weather and water safety: Regulations, local knowledge, rescue techniques and lifesaving skills. USCG (United States Coast Guard) approved water safety clinic.
– Anchor systems: Individual and group
– Adapting and sequencing asana on the water, including one set sequence and guidelines for building your own class.
– Building Your Business: Purchasing and preparing, start up capital, marketing and advertising, web development and software, reaching your audience.
– PaddleFit Certification
– Equipment provided for duration of training: SUP Board, paddle, anchor, and PFD.
– Journaling and Dharma satsang to discover your purpose and calling.

Meet Your Teachers

This training will be led by Leda Olmsted, yoga teacher and owner of Fluid SUP. Leda has has taught well over a thousand students SUP yoga, and has trained over 50 teachers to teach SUP yoga. She is a Boardworks team athlete and surfer of rivers, lakes, and oceans,  Bradley Hilton will be assisting the paddling skills and techniques portion of the training. Bradley is a Badfish team athlete, SUP river guide and SUP instructor. He competes in whitewater and flat water races across the country.

Grand Lake is the largest and deepest natural lake in Colorado, and serves as the headwaters for the Colorado River. From Grand Lake you will enjoy 360 degree views of pine covered rolling hillsides and snow tipped mountains. On shore of the lake lies the quaint town of Grand Lake, best know for being the western entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Those who attend this unique Rocky Mountain Stoked Yogi training will stay in the heart of this mountain town, right on the shores of the lake. Within a short walk there are many shops, restaurants, and local attractions, including beautiful hiking trails throughout the surrounding hillsides.


Students will enjoy their stay in a large historic log cabin with a private beach right on the shores of Grand Lake, just steps from the mouth of the Tonahutu River. After a long day on the water, their will be options to enjoy a sunset boat cruise, kick back fireside and gaze at the sparkling night sky, or take a short walking into town and enjoy the laid-back nightlife of Grand Lake. All participants will have an option of twin/queen bed in a shared room, an upgrade to a private queen/king bedroom, or to bring a friend an share a bed. Travel Information

Those who are flying in from out of town will want to fly into Denver International Airport. This is a 2-2.5 hour drive from Grand Lake. An airport shuttle will be provided and depart DIA at 3pm to head to the mountains. Another shuttle will depart Grand Lake at 1pm on Sunday.

We recommend  booking flights into DIA before 2:30 on Wednesday and after 5pm on Sunday.
