Curious about stand up paddling on whitewater, but too nervous to try it on your own, or don’t really know where to start? Join us for a women’s all inclusive weekend Shred Camp on the Colorado river!


 Meet your guides:

Leda Olmsted is an international yoga teacher and SUP athlete for Boardworks surf. She grew up surfing on the Great Lakes and upon moving to landlocked Colorado, she took up river surfing and whitewater SUP to fulfill her desires to be on the water. She leads SUP yoga teacher trainings, yoga retreats, and women’s Shred Camps with a with a mission to empower women to live outside their comfort zone through yoga and outdoor adventures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brittany Parker is a woman who has dedicated her life to living in flow with the river. She is an accomplished paddler and team rider for Badfish SUP. The last several years she has been traveling, living in her van, spreading her love for river life, shredding whitewater, and living fully. She has instructed many women on how to safely navigate rivers on a SUP and also how to surf standing river waves.

 

This weekend retreat includes:

-all river SUP gear needed, thanks to SUP Colorado

-all meals

-daily yoga

-professional whitewater guides

-SUP skills coaching to help you conquer the Colorado River

-camping under the stars (optional cabin rentals available)

-connection & community in nature

 

What to expect:

Meals will be gluten free & vegan! We will provide lunch on the river and dinner at camp on Saturday, and breakfast and another lunch on the river Sunday. You are always welcome to bring extra snacks!

 

Participants should plan on arriving to Rancho Del Rio on the morning of Saturday July 28th by 9am to prepare for their first day on the river.

 

After a fun day on the water we will enjoy a relaxing riverside yoga class, dinner around the bonfire, and camping under the stars!

 

Sunday morning will start with an energizing yoga class to warm the body and a healthy breakfast to fuel us for another day on the water.

 

Please plan on being off the water and wrapping up by 4-5pm on Sunday July 29th.

 

NOTE:

**Camping on Friday night is an option for those that want to arrive early. Just $10 to camp an extra night, which can be paid on site.

**Participants are responsible for providing their own camping gear. Only river gear will be provided.

**For those that prefer a more luxurious experience, participants have the option of booking a cabin through Rancho Del Rio‘s website. If you decide that this route is for you, please book your cabin ASAP, as we cannot guarantee availability.
